We lost our Vice President on Monday. All of us here at BCR are beyond heartbroken. It was Jon’s outlandish ideas and rebellions spirit that gave BCR so much life. There will forever be a hole where his heart used to be.
Yesterday Rolling Stone debuted “Killing The Blues”, side A of BCR’s Record Store Day seven-inch release on the two artists. Side B is a cover of Waylon Jennings’ iconic song “I’ve Always Been Crazy” and features Lee Roy Parnell on the lead guitar. “Killing The Blues” will be available on April 18th in brick-and-mortar record stores on white vinyl. There is only a limited amount of these being made, so if you want to secure your copy, speak to your local record store — They can still order now by calling AEC and placing a new order, or by calling 1-844-REACH-BCR today!
Check out Shooter’s new video “She Talks To Rainbows” on the Black Country Rock official Youtube Channel! The song is available on the limited edition “BCR Mixtape 2014” available NOW on CD and digital from BCR Los Angeles.

“She Talks To Rainbows”, directed by Christoph Heuer and produced by Blake Judd for Juddfilms, is a cover of the Ramones tune that Joey Ramone chose for Ronnie Spector to cover when he produced a record on her in 1999.
“I saw Ronnie Spector play at the Roxy this year and she performed that song with such fire and passion, it hit me so hard. I went out and recorded the song a week later.” Shooter said, “We didn’t know what to really do with it at first. ‘I’m in the middle of a Giorgio Moroder tribute album that is a follow up to my George Jones tribute album, what do I do with a Joey Ramone song?’ But we found a place”

Black Country Rock partners with independent record stores nationally and announces two diverse Black Friday releases from country music icon Waylon Jennings and WWE Superstar Mick Foley.
“Louisiana Man, Kentucky Woman” is a collection of three unreleased 70’s-era tracks from Waylon Jennings. Originally intended for an exclusive Navy radio release and recorded at Scotty Moore’s “Music City Records” – these tracks feature Jennings in top form being backed by The Waylors. Of undeniable interest to aficionados of country music and deep cuts, this release will be available on limited-edition white 7″ vinyl on Black Friday.
“Crazy Christmas” is a spoken-word Christmas narrative told by New York Times Best Selling author and Hardcore Wrestling Legend Mick Foley, written by 10-year-old son Hugh Foley, with music and sound effects composed by Shooter Jennings.
“Narrating ‘Crazy Christmas’, the story my youngest son wrote as a gift for Santa Claus, was one of the joys of my life.” Foley said. “We handed our special holiday project off to Shooter Jennings, who took it on a wild and charming ride. I hope this collaboration with Shooter brings listeners the same sense of joy it has brought to me.”
“Crazy Christmas” will be available on limited-edition white 7″ vinyl on Black Friday, as well as available on iTunes beginning December 9, 2014.

New York native band Last Daze, whose debut album Symbols & Snares will be released in 2015 on BCR Los Angeles, have released two digital singles, “Heaven Won’t Let You In” and “Kentucky” via iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and all other digital music distributors.
The dual single package offers the first taste of this young new band. Produced by Shooter Jennings, Symbols & Snares shows off a diverse and inventive young roots band on their way out of obscurity and into the minds and hearts of music-lovers everywhere.
“The best thing about Katy (Cole) and her voice and songs is that, one minute it reminds me of something you would get from Florence & the Machine and the next minute it might be a beautiful country ballad. Then something reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails will pop up on the record. It’s so unpredictable, which is the way I like my music. I was really glad they asked me to be a part of this project and I’m very proud of the record we’ve been making this year.”
Shooter’s brand new video “Don’t Wait Up (I’m Playin’ Possum)” directed by Blake Judd & Todd Tue for Juddfilms debuted today on CMT.com!
